Booking & Cancellation Policy

At Makeup & Beauty Lounge we are a small, dedicated team who genuinely care about every client and every appointment. Our booking and cancellation policy exists to protect our team's time and livelihood — and we appreciate your understanding and respect for these guidelines.

 

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments at Makeup & Beauty Lounge.

Your deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your service on the day of your appointment.

Please note — deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations, reschedules outside our policy window and no-shows.

By booking an appointment with us you agree to these deposit terms.

 

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for all cancellations and rescheduling requests.

If you cancel or reschedule with more than 48 hours notice: Your deposit will be transferred to your new appointment date.

If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours notice: Your deposit will be forfeited and a cancellation fee of 50% of your booked service will apply.

If you do not show up to your appointment: Your deposit will be forfeited and a no-show fee of 50% of your booked service will apply. Clients who no-show may be required to pay a larger deposit or pay in full to secure future appointments.

 

Late Arrivals

We understand that life happens — but please be aware that arriving late to your appointment may affect the time available for your service.

If you are running late please contact us as soon as possible so we can do our best to accommodate you.

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to be rebooked and the late cancellation fee may apply.

 

Bridal & Group Bookings

Bridal and group bookings have specific deposit and cancellation requirements which will be outlined at the time of enquiry.

We recommend confirming your final party numbers at least 4 weeks before your event date to avoid any changes to your booking that may incur fees.
